Cruizers Academy 2026/2027 Tryouts
Thank you for your interest in Cruizers Academy. Please complete the tryout registration form with all required information. After registering, families should expect return communication from the club regarding next steps.

Registration Requirements
All players must register before attending tryouts.
Players who are not registered will not be allowed to participate.
Tryout Process
- Complete the online tryout form
- Attend your scheduled tryout sessions
- Wait for follow-up communication from the club
Attending all scheduled sessions is recommended, but a player must attend at least one tryout session to be considered.

John Thurman Field – 625 Rouse Ave, Modesto, CA 95351
Tryout Dates
- Monday, May 4 and Wednesday, May 6
- Wednesday, May 27 and Thursday, May 28
Age Group Changes (2026–2027 Season)
US Soccer, US Club Soccer, and US Youth Soccer have updated the age group format to an August 1 – July 31 cutoff.
What this means:
- Players are placed based on birthdate, not school grade
- Most players will now be grouped with peers they attend school with
- Some players may shift age groups compared to previous seasons
Tryout Gear Requirements
Parents are responsible for providing all required gear for tryouts.
Players must bring:
- White t-shirt
- Black socks
- Black shorts
- Cleats
- Shin guards
- Soccer ball
Note:
- Players should arrive 30-15 minutes early and ready to train
